Kevin Fitzgerald is a graduate of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa (BS) and Columbia University (MS). He has nearly 14 years of engineering experience and has worked on diverse, complex, and high-profile projects throughout the United States. Some of his notable projects include the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, La Guardia Airport Redevelopment Program, and NYU Langone Medical Center Hurricane Sandy Recovery. After returning to Hawai’i, he shared his expertise in critical lift design and planning with a contractor working on the Honolulu Rail Project. This collaboration resulted in the successful execution of tandem lifts, blind lifts, and crawler pick and carry.
Additionally, Mr. Fitzgerald has a diverse portfolio of forensic engineering projects, investigating a wide range of property losses in both the private and public sectors throughout Hawai'i, California, and Washington State.
His personal goal is to hone in on the engineering challenges unique to Hawai'i, while learning and contributing to the growth and success of the engineering profession on the island.
